Anything delicious that can be made in under 30 minutes is always a hit with me and anything delicious and nutritious that doesn’t require any cooking and can be made in 15 minutes is what I call a “super hit” recipe. Our friend D brought this dip to our place for dinner one night and I was bowled over by the taste and simplicity of this dish. It can be served as a healthy dip with chips or vegetables or eaten the Indian way with rice or roti.
1/2 medium head cabbage grated or very finely chopped
2 cups non fat yogurt
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder/ paprika
1. Take the yogurt in a bowl and beat until smooth.
2. Add salt, cumin and red chilli powder.
3. Add shredded cabbage and mix well.
4. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
