If you are a coconut lover, this is a must try for you. Coconut meat is soaked in young coconut water and dry roasted to perfection. There are no added oils in these chips. They are subtly sweet with a hint of salt and can be eaten straight out of the bag for a snack or used as toppings for ice creams and cakes. I used mine for salads and trail mix. You can even use them as a topping for Thai noodles.Their texture and flavor are similar to coconut flakes used for baking but they are flat and crispy. This is a vegan, gluten free product from Thailand.
Priced at 1.99 for a 2oz bag, they are definitely cheaper than other stores. They can be found along with other nuts and dried fruits in the store. Each bag has 2 servings and each serving has about 160 calories, 9 grams of sugar and 10 grams of fat. I am glad these come in small bags, they are highly addictive and so difficult to stop with just one.
